# Opportunities for Swapping

Some inside politics is going on \[[Godbole 2](/scaleswap/list-of/references.md)] with Layer 2 scaling solutions. Polygon managed to develop a splendid ecosystem and an amount of liquidity. Currently, it does not even require participants to leave their layer 2.

There are various Polygon-based L2 DEXes, such as [QuickSwap](https://quickswap.exchange/), [1 Inch](https://app.1inch.io/#/1/swap/ETH/DAI), and [DFyn](https://docs.dfyn.network/architecture), where willing customers can conduct their L2 swaps. Due to the novel nature of the existing Polygon’s L2 mainnet, the transaction wait times can be improved. However, the transaction fees are within $0.002 range as of the time of this paper’s release. So how does it work?
